Automotive Management
Associate of Applied Science Degree
Catalog Year 2006-2007

Location Offered: Prescott

The Automotive Management Degree program is designed for individuals preparing for positions utilizing a combination of automotive technology and business management skills including service managers, insurance adjustors, and small business owners. This degree program will prepare students for the National Automotive Service (ASE) certification examinations to become an ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician and a Certified Engine Machinist. ASE certification requires hands-on working experience as well as completion of written examinations. Two years of post high school educational training, such as that offered in this automotive degree program at Yavapai College, may be substituted for up to one year of the hands-on work experience requirement of the ASE certification.

A student interested in the automotive curriculum listed above must complete the curriculum by the end of the fall 2003 semester. After the fall 2003 semester, this curriculum will no longer be offered.
